THE WASTE CLUSTER OF CATALONIA IS BORN WITH ROMERO POLO AS FOUNDING PARTNER

Romero Polo has founded the new Catalan waste cluster, promoted by ACCIÓ and the Agencia de Residuos de Cataluña (ARC), together with other companies in the sector.

The new cluster, which will group together all the companies in the waste management sector, aims to increase their competitiveness. Thus, the purpose is to promote collaborative activity between clusters and the entire value chain of the sector, boosting its internationalization and encouraging innovation and R&D.

This initiative is part of the green and circular economy promotion, which endorses the reduction of waste and the efficient use of resources.

The Catalan waste sector, which is in constant transformation, is currently made up of 693 companies with a turnover of around 10,000 million euros and nearly 41,000 employees.
