ROMERO POLO DEPLOYS TO VALENCIA TO ASSIST IN CLEANUP OPERATIONS AFTER THE DANA
On November 4, Romero Polo traveled to Catarroja (Valencia), accompanied by the team deployed by the Government of Aragón and under the coordination of Protección Civil Aragón, with the objective of contributing to the necessary efforts during the initial phase of the emergency following the DANA.
For ten days, the team worked tirelessly, carrying out cleanup operations that included the removal of vehicles, mud, furniture, and various unusable items left in the aftermath of the storm. To complete these tasks, the company mobilized a total of 11 personnel, working in shifts to ensure continuous service, and deployed a fleet of machinery from PAPSA, a company within the group, consisting of backhoe loaders, trucks, a van, a pick-up, and some vehicles.
Romero Polo’s work in the area concluded on November 14, when, after the most critical phase of the emergency had passed, heavy machinery was withdrawn to allow specialized teams to take over for the next phase.
