ROMERO POLO CONTRIBUTES TO MARTORELL’S NEW CLEANING SERVICE

Romero Polo has signed a new contract for waste collection and street cleaning in Martorell, together with ACCIONA and the town council. The agreement has a duration of four years and a total amount of almost 10 million euros.

This contract will improve the service to keep the public space clean and guarantee the recycling of waste, favoring the sustainability of the town by renewing the fleet of vehicles with a commitment to propulsion through gas and electricity. There will also be new cleaning equipment that will increase efficiency and offer a more complete service.

The contract contemplates the collection of the 5 fractions by means of bilateral containers, as well as door-to-door commercial collection. Pre-collections and selective collections will be increased, incrementing the service on weekends and holidays. The new image of the cleaning service, with the slogan “Clean Martorell: Let’s do it together, let’s do it well”, aims to involve citizens in the maintenance of the urban space.
