PAPSA WILL EXECUTE PART OF THE EXTRAORDINARY ROAD PLAN OF ARAGÓN
Papsa Infraestructuras, belonging to the Romero Polo group, is one of the eight companies awarded to carry out the Extraordinary Road Plan of the Government of Aragón. The works will begin next June and are scheduled to be completed in 2027.
Specifically, Papsa, in alliance with VIALEX Constructora, will be the company in charge of lot 3, which corresponds to Zaragoza Central. In addition, Papsa, in a joint venture with ACCIONA, will also carry out route 11, corresponding to the section from Gallur to Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza). The project includes a total of eleven lots, as signed by the Counselor of Development, Mobility, Housing and Logistics of the Aragonese Government, Octavio López.
The Extraordinary Road Plan will entail the renovation of more than 1,700 kilometers of the Aragonese Autonomous Network to improve the roads of this autonomous community. The initial investment by the awardees grouping the ten contracts is 530 million euros. However, the final cost is expected to be 2,608 million, since the contracts also include the payment of the works, maintenance and conservation of each of the routes during the 25 years of the concession.
